Marine Equipment Joint-Stock Company - MECOM’s predecessor was Marine Equipment Company - the State Company belongs to Vietnam Fishery Ministry since 1989.

Marine Equipment Joint-Stock Company - MECOM was established on 8th Mar., 2005 in which 11% is the state capital and 89% belongs to the private capital.

MECOM has the expert engineers in the fields of Marine Electronics and Mechanics together with a network of over 70 dealers and agencies all over Vietnam. MECOM is always ready to serve the customers’ demand wherever and whenever with the products and services as follows:

Supply and Install for Marine Navigation equipment and Radio Communication equipment for commercial vessels and fishing boats.
Supply and Install for MF/HF/VHF/UHF Communication equipment for Land use and the air-band radio for Aviation.
Supply some materials for shipyards (chain, anchor and electric shipboard cables ).
Supply Services for Marine Navigation equipment and radio communication equipment.
Supply Services for Land mobile radios.

Vietnam Register (VR) certifies that MECOM has been assessed and approved to provide Shore – Base Maintenance Station, Service, Testing, inspection for Seaborne GMDSS equipment and Navigation equipment.

MECOM is the manufacturer of many kinds of the power supply and marine antennas for commercial vessel and some kinds of special equipment for Taxi Dispatching station to meet the domestic and export demands.
